This year, APOP, is charitable foundation, is adding a pet products and manufacturer survey to learn more about the challenges you are facing. APOP is the leading non-profit organization of veterinary professionals, scientists, and pet industry representatives dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of pets with obesity and weight-related disorders.

APOP collects pet obesity prevalence data with the help of veterinary clinics around the U.S. We also survey pet owner behaviors and opinions about pet food, nutrition, weight, and other important health topics. This information provides insight and helps create evidence-based interventions to recognize, treat, and prevent pet obesity.

Through our collective efforts, we can provide better clinical resources and tools, promote evidence-based obesity and weight loss interventions and drive important research to understand the health impacts and complex causes of weight and obesity-related disorders.
