Veterinary Professionals: Join the 2024 Clinic Obesity Prevalence Survey for Cats, Dogs, and Horses!

Tracking pet obesity is crucial for understanding and addressing this growing health concern. The data we collect will help advocate for increased awareness and resources dedicated to pet obesity, supporting broader public health initiatives.

Participants are asked to report weight on animals seen during routine examinations on at least one full day, or more if scheduling permits. Participants will be given a survey link to submit data electronically using a mobile device, iPad, or computer.

This year the survey has been expanded to include international submissions and is available in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish translations for the dog and cat survey.

We believe that pet obesity, across all species, represents a One Health issue with implications beyond animal health, affecting human well-being and public health. Your participation is vital to promoting better health outcomes for animals everywhere.
